OBX 2011

We had a wonderful, relaxing week with the whole Kirnan clan. We were able to meet up with the Stevens' in NC at none other than Chick-fil-a (CFA+BFF=perfection) on our way down. We had gorgeous weather the whole week. We played on the beach, shopped, stayed up too late, and just soaked up time together. We also had another fun ER visit the second night we were there. Mac had caught a little cold on the trip down, and that little cold quickly turned into RSV symptoms. So instead of taking him to urgent care (to just be sent to the ER anyway), Ryan and I packed up and took him to the hospital. After an exam and an x-ray, sure enough our little wheezer had some kind of respiratory virus. They didn't swab for RSV since it didn't really matter treatment wise. We were sent home with a nebulizer and meds. Little buddy really responded to the breathing treatments and was better in no time! It wouldn't be vacation without some unpredictability right?!
