sad.

I am trying to have a good attitude about this... but I can't help but be beyond sad. Alyssa and Jason are moving to Arizona tomorrow. They have become some of our very closest friends, and Ryan and I are going to miss them terribly. Alyssa and I were looking through my pictures the other night... boy do we like to break the camera out when we are together! Alyssa and I met when we worked at P4K, I will never forget the first day we worked together! And the rest is history...

don't ask... and don't ask x2 about the sweatpants/shirt combo

I can't even begin to recount all of the memories we have together, as couples and with just Alyssa and me. I know there will be many more fun times together, but I do love looking back (as Alyssa would say, "um, we aren't DYING!"). Ohhh I am trying so hard not to be mushy for her sake! We love you guys and are so excited for you to start this new chapter in your lives.

  1. :( I'm sorry. Maybe you guys should move to AZ with them!! Then you'd always be within driving distance from me (and your friends!).

  6. Well...this is so NOT sad for me because I get to meet you!!! Yay!...well hopefully...that's if you'll hang out with me :) BUT besides that, I totally understand. It's always hard when your friends move away :(

  7. I'm guessing by your face in the picture with you throwing the 'Peace, what up?' sign, that she just told you they were moving right then. Because you looked incredibly confused and bewildered. Yet at the same time, you think she is kidding. And I can tell by her motions tugging at her shirt that she thinks she is the bomb because she just told you 'what up'. I'm also guessing that this conversation took about 9 hours, hence why Ryan and Jason are asleep.

  8. It is sad when good friends move far away or you have to move far away from friends. At least there are phone calls and emails. It is not the same as hanging out together in person though!

  9. It's so hard to part from friends. :-( I hope you guys are able to make vacation plans to see each other. At least we're living in this digital age, when we don't have to rely on the Pony Express to stay in touch. ;-)

  10. Ashley! I finally have internet. You are the best...I thought I had gotten all me crying out-but this made me sad/happy that I have such a great friend like you. Thanks for the wonderful blog-and all the happy memories (who's being cheesy now). I'll call you tommorow =)
