quiche and projects

Whew. I just came up from spray painting in the basement (working on one of my latest projects!) and I'm definitely feeling the fumes. Today was great, got so much done and got to spend tons of time with my momma doing what we do best.... shopping!!!
I made a quiche this morning...It was so easy and delicious, kind of a no-brainer really.... and how could I NOT share the recipe?!

Sausage Quiche
serves 4

Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 C milk
6 oz reduced fat sausage
6 oz shredded cheese (take your pick, I used colby jack)
dash S&P

Spray a 9" pie pan with cooking spray. Whisk eggs and milk together, then add the rest of the ingredients. Put in pan, bake at 375 for 40-45 min, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

It was yummy!

So anyway, my mom and I went shopping today and picked up a few items (including a bit of THIS FABRIC) for some project ideas I have swimming in my brain... I really have found that doing what I love to do really DOES elevate my mood... so be prepared. I'm off and running... and be assured that I will share... yay for blogging material!
