saturday babble

Today was so fun. Though I did not go to the gym (bad), I was able to go shopping and spend some quality time with one of my bestest friends Alyssa. I got some great (expensive) jeans for supercheap and more stuff for fun projects, including more trim for the window treatments for the kitchen that my mom and I (well, mostly my mom!) made last weekend. And we finally re-hung the light fixture in the kitchen, so tall friends who come over need not live in fear of smacking their heads on the light anymore! I'm now (impatiently) waiting for Ryan to finish up his appointment for the afternoon (even though it's 7:30 now!) so we can go over to the Kellers and get the party started! Happy Saturday (well, what's left of it)!

  2. I am in love with your house too! It's so classic and lovely.

Your mom {and you} made those window treatments!?!?!?! I am so impressed. Now I see where all your talent comes from.

Way to go Mrs. M and Mrs. K! Are either of you offering online sewing classes?

  9. That is the cutest kitchen I ever seen. It makes me want to cook pancakes and cheese sticks. But not bacon. Bacon makes the whole house smell like grease. And I don't think this kitchen should smell like grease. I'd eat bacon in that kitchen, just not make it smell like bacon.

  10. I think your house is great and I just love your kitchen. We are in the middle of remodeling which always makes me feel likes things are upside down!! I love your blog and all of your pictures. I have a new blog called I've Overcooked My Family and I am looking to blog with other mothers that are joyful and celebrating life. I'd love to hear from you!
