I've been thinking so much lately (and I wonder if it has to do with all of the lovely weather we are experiencing, hmm...) about how much I want to just get away. Someplace warm, with my husband, no stress. We do have our upcoming trip to the OBX in April with the Kirnan crew... but I want to get away NOW. Or YESTERDAY. I must say, we DO get to leave on weekend getaways and stuff pretty often... but that's not what I'm talkin about. Sigh. I thought I'd at least share a few pics of some of our past vacations... maybe reliving them will be almost as good as actually going... yeah right, haha....

ReplyDeleteI just booked airline tickets to Florida for MYSELF, no children involved, for April!! It will be the first time EVER leaving them overnight. I'll be helping my mom finish cleaning up her house and moving north for good so it won't be a pleasure-trip but will be warm and without kids none the less. Did I mention the kids aren't going???

HA!HA! I told Manny the other day I am looking forward to my "vacation". He just looked at me and asked me where I was planning on going at 38 weeks pregnant? My reply was the hospital, where people will wait on me and I can send the baby to the nursery at night and get some sleep!!

Definitely. I was just telling the hubs last night, that I would love to go to a different country every year. We might have to start out small, and do Mexico and Canada first. :)
